Here's a long comment to go along with that epic post!

I'd be interested to know how the Cuttlebug cuts and embosses paper and card, I've had a quick nose on You Tube and most videos show you what to do and the end result but that's about it. I don't imagine the dies have metal edges but I don't see how a sharp plastic edge would last very long let alone cut through card. When I saw Derren Brown I spent ages trying to work out how he did things, I've a feeling this could be the same!

At work we have a similar setup which is connected to a computer. The people that use it design the artwork with reference marks and print it on to card. They then move it over to the CNC cutter (a fancy customisable computer controlled Cuttlebug in effect), import the artwork from the art program to the cutting program and mark out the lines they want the card to be either cut or scored. The reference marks are then picked up in both the cutting program and cutter itself leading to perfect edges cut to near enough 0.1mm accuracy. Marvellous bit of kit.

Merlin. Its one of the few programs I watch every time without fail! Love Guias, Merlin, the late Uther, Morgana, Arthur and not forgetting the dragon! Ooo and Merlin's older self Emrys, he's funny! Almost a character list there, to be fair they're all fantastic. Series 5 is due out in the Autumn I think, I can't wait.

I missed the first and second series though and haven't got around to deciding whether I can afford the DVDs. It's a shame our local video rental shop only does films.

Lord of the Rings isn't something I've given much chance. When I did watch it, I felt very sleepy in the middle. I had always attributed that to the film being boring but it was a full on day before hand and it was most likely my head telling me I should get some rest rather than not watch it. I love the idea behind it so I'll certainly be giving it another go at some stage.

Hope you're feeling a bit brighter soon Amy. Have an e-cookie!

Thank You Kev! that means a lot. I'm glad you had a go at trying it def takes some getting used too. I still haven't masters it yet but I can read grade 1 pretty well. Reading Braille on electronic devices and medicine boxes is far much easier than paper book Braille..
Haha well then that is what I shall do, my home is full of random and klutzy experiences I could probably write a whole book on that subject!

Thanks again !! take car.e

I always find your posts and videos enjoyable, even though I may not comment a huge amount. In fact if it wasn't for you I wouldn't have found myself sitting at the table a few days ago studying the Braille on a box of Ibuprofen! It's all well and good me looking at the bumps and working out which letter is which but when I tried to read it by touch...I don't get anywhere as my fingers struggle to pick up the bumps. Does this just come with practice?
All humans are naturally nosey so yes, I for one would be interested in reading about your adventures and frustrations!
