I love stories it doesn’t matter if they are happy, sad, profound, stupid, believable or not. I just can’t get enough. I thrive of it. If I had sight I would definitely be one of those people that sit in cafes and observe humanity with it mundane and interesting-ness. I’d watch people on trains, note what they are reading, if they are talking to anybody, and what about, that stuff fascinates me. I feel a bit sad that I miss out on so much visually and even though I pick up with my other senses it’s always a distorted image. I do have some solace with the aid of a huge computer screen and burnt nose potential. I find a multitude of visual intrigue online!. I don’t know if blogging can be described as a hobby but coming across interesting things on sites is definitely mine. I love finding a picture and wondering about the story behind it, the plaee or a person, a memory captured for the world to see and for everyone to experience in their own way.
The other day I was introduced via a friend to
Nanoism. I’m addicted but I haven’t submitted anything yet. It’s premise is to come up with the emotions of a story but limited to 140 characters. Apparently there are a few sites emerging with this ‘Twitter Fiction’ style. Quick reading for today’s busy lifestyles. Check it out

The short video ‘Alma’ has really spoken to me lately. I get frustrated so often and so quickly these days. My mum is always telling me I am impatient and want everything now. Which is true, I know I need to work on my patience quota. Spending so much time and energy thinking and wanting to get the things I think i need/want without taking the time to assess if I really need them, are they what’s best for me, what would be the impact.. Alma’s change wasn’t for the better at all, so it makes me take the step back and think before I go into new things that could affect more than just myself.
I was also left wondering, how old was she and WHY was she on her own?. But then it’s an animation, it’s not reality, so don’t question it.
